Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Davtar collects when you use our website and Alan, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and sign-in records.
- Your projects: what you ask Alan to build, your messages, and the code, files, test results and screenshots produced while building.
- Usage: how many builds you run, how large they are, and your plan.
- Payments: if you upgrade, our payment provider collects your payment details. We receive your plan status, not your full card number.
- Technical data: error reports, basic device and browser information, and IP addresses, used to keep the Service working and secure.
How we use it
- To run the Service: build what you ask for, save your projects, and show your usage.
- To keep it safe: screen requests for misuse, prevent abuse, and enforce limits.
- To fix problems and improve Davtar.
- To contact you about your account, for example when a build finishes or about billing.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your projects to train AI models without your permission.
Who processes it for us
We use trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf and under contract:
- cloud hosting and the temporary machines Alan builds on;
- our database and sign-in provider;
- AI model providers that process your requests and project content so Alan can do the work;
- a payment processor for subscriptions;
- an email delivery provider.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or the Service, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
Sharing you control
If you create a share link, anyone with that link can see the shared project. You can turn it off at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and projects while your account is active. When you delete a project, we delete it and its saved code. Error reports and usage records are kept for as long as we need them to run, secure and account for the Service.
Your choices and rights
You can see and delete your projects in Davtar at any time. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. To make a request, contact us through the Davtar website. We'll verify that the request comes from you before acting on it.
Security
Each build runs on its own isolated, temporary machine. Your data is stored with access rules so that only you can see your projects. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Davtar is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We'll update this policy as Davtar changes and let you know about significant changes.
